Apex Security Installations and Monitoring

Feel safe and secure – Apex is a licenced security company with the skills and experience to install domestic and commercial security systems.

Security systems keep watch on your premises whether you are there or away. We specialise in a variety of security products that combine to keep you and your property safer.

Apex supplies effective alarms that trigger when someone unauthorised tries to gain access to your property. You may monitor the alarm’s state remotely or use Apex’s monitoring service to detect intrusion.

Alarms may be silent or loud but either way, they’ll tell you immediately if someone is trying to enter your property.

Apex Security can install a wide range of equipment to trigger alarms from motion sensors to physical activity on a door or gate.

Alarm Monitoring

Setting alarms is good security practice but someone needs to respond when they activate.

Apex can monitor your alarm system so that, should it activate, we can ensure that correct response is despatched quickly and efficiently.

Closed circuit television cameras (CCTV) are your eyes on a property that capture activity when you are absent. Apex installs cameras that you can view using modern smart phones or by Internet-connected computer.

Depending on your needs, we can install CCTVs to cover all points on a property and have the cameras scan for intrusion or set up just one to monitor comings and goings though an entry point, such as gateway or warehouse loading bay.

Access Control

Control who gets in and who stays out. Apex’s access control gives access to authorised staff or residents and confines unauthorised people to public areas.

Track access activity and have an audit of who has been in which sections of your building and at which times.

IQP Checks

With access control systems regular IQP checks are required for building warrants of fitness. Apex can provide on-going checks that meet your building compliance requirements and issue 12A reports.

Electronic Article Surveillance

Electronic article surveillance (EAS) is a technological method for preventing shoplifting from retail stores, pilferage of books from libraries or removal of properties from office buildings.

Special tags are fixed to merchandise or books. These tags are removed or deactivated by the clerks when the item is properly bought or checked out. At the exits of the store, a detection system sounds an alarm or otherwise alerts the staff when it senses active tags.

Some stores also have detection systems at the entrance to the bathrooms that sound an alarm if someone tries to take unpaid merchandise with them into the bathroom.

For high-value goods that are to be manipulated by the patrons, wired alarm clips may be used instead of tags.

Security System Maintenance and Repairs

By performing regular maintenance on your security system Apex can ensure its trouble-free use and reliability.

We can repair faults and correct deficiencies to give you confidence that your alarms and locks are keeping watch whether you are on the premises or absent.
